OneLondon has been awarded the IT and Digital Innovation Award at the HSJ Value Awards 2021.

The judging panel was led by a wide range of respected representatives from across the UK healthcare community, and, following an extensive and thorough process of consideration, OneLondon has been given this prestigious award in recognition of its outstanding contribution during what has been one of the most challenging periods in the history of the healthcare sector.

OneLondon is a collaboration of London’s five health and care partnerships and the London Ambulance Service – working together to transform the capital’s health and care services through the join-up of information to support faster, safer, more effective care for Londoners. The programme is supported by London’s three Academic Health Science Networks and the Greater London Authority.

OneLondon’s successes include implementation of the London Care Record – a single shared care record for London which gives clinicians a mechanism to see a joined-up picture of a person’s health and care information, available at the point of care. It acts as a single version of the truth, and is the basis for providing personal health records, and applications for clinical services delivery, population health analysis and research.

The HSJ Value Awards evening celebrated projects showcasing the highest levels of collaboration and outstanding improvements in care quality and efficiency made by NHS staff. The winners and those highly commended were announced across 20 categories during the HSJ Value Awards ceremony held at Manchester Central on 2 September 2021.
